Misha's first
senior international competition was the 2006 Commonwealth Games
where at 14-years-old he became the youngest New Zealand male to
compete at a Commonwealth Games. He qualified for the all-around
final and one month later won New Zealand’s first medal at a junior
Pacific Alliance Championships.
These early
international achievements trigger a notion that a bright gymnastic
future lays in store for this young man who is coached by his
father.
Misha has lived in
New Zealand
for 9 years. He attends Westlake Boys High School and trains for 28
hours per week.
